§ 6 Prize and prize draw
In the first draw (September 2026), one winner per participating destination will be selected at random (destination winner).
In a final draw (October 2026), a lot will be drawn to decide which destination will receive which destination winner for a winter holiday.
The prize includes a winter holiday for up to four people (3 nights) in a participating destination, including accommodation in an eco-labelled establishment (at least 3 stars). The arrival and departure by public transport of the winners will be organised and paid for by the respective host destination.
The exact details of the prize package will be announced after the draw.
The prize is not transferable to third parties and cannot be redeemed in cash.
Legal recourse is excluded with regard to the organisation of the prize draw and the random determination of prizes, to the extent permitted by law.
§ 7 Notification of winnings
The winners will be notified by email to the address provided when entering. If no response is received within 14 days, the claim to the prize will be forfeited and a replacement winner will be drawn. Non-winning participants will not be notified separately.
§ 8 Participation of the winners, reporting
The participating destinations intend to editorially accompany the winter holiday („second holiday“) granted as part of the prize and to use the resulting holiday stories for public relations purposes for the mobility campaign - in particular on blogs, in press releases and in social media. The aim is to make the public journey visible as an example worth emulating and to report on the winners.
For this purpose, the winners will be contacted and asked to contribute to the competition. Contributions can be made in text form only (e.g. experience report, quote) or additionally with image material (photos), at the discretion of the winners.
Reporting on the winners and any publication of photos will only take place on the basis of separate, voluntary consent, which will be obtained prior to publication. If other persons (e.g. travelling companions) are recognisable in photos, their consent is also required.
Participation in the competition and entitlement to the prize are independent of this consent. A refusal or later revocation of consent has no detrimental consequences for the prize. Consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.
§ 9 Liability
The organiser is not liable for technical faults that impair participation, unless these are due to intentional or grossly negligent behaviour on the part of the organiser. Liability for damages in connection with the prize (e.g. during the winter holiday) is excluded for property damage and financial loss due to slight negligence. Liability for damages resulting from injury to life, limb or health and for damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence remains unaffected by this.
§ 10 Early termination
The organiser reserves the right to terminate or change the competition at any time for good cause (e.g. force majeure, technical problems, legal obligations) without prior notice.
